I'm looking for some opinions on whether you think stacks will look good or bad on my truck. Someone at another forum photo shopped a pic for me and I have to say... . I think it looks pretty dang good.

I'm not one to typically follow the heard but, I'd really like to see what other opinions are out there about it.

Personally, I think stacks need to be on a long bed truck. But they do look good. If my truck was a long bed I'd already have them.

I think stacks look good but only a certian trucks ie long bed or dragster or puller, but not as what looks like a pretty 07 that daily driven...

I also prefer single stack over duals... .

id go with duals out back. id have a shop do the install and tuck the up as high as possible so they dont hang so low. as much as i like the stacks i think a long bed would make the difference. also, depending on how the truck is used, i wouldnt want them in the way. nice rig BTW

I would do it on a $33K truck but not $40K if that makes any sense? Also I personally think straight-cut tops look cleaner than mitre or turn/outs but that's my opinion. If it's what you want go for it, I want the "cool-dual" look on my truck and a lot of people don't like it but I've decided I'm going to do it anyway.

once you stack you never go back :-laf ... there is nothing like cutting a hole in the bed of a 40 couple thousand dollar truck :D ... . personally i love the look and sound of mine ... but just my 2 cents

my girlfriend bought me 6" miters for christmas and if i would have known how happy i would be i would have done it years ago!!! they absoltely kick ***, especially with the SPS62 singing through them!! i think stacks on your truck would look amazing chris, especially since its black. let me know and we will go for a ride so you can see what you think.

as for the red mega cab, i am partial to miters and nothing smaller than 6", but yours would look really good too either way.

Just my opinion... .

Stacks to me look silly in a pick- up bed. If one had a flat bed, well- maybe.

I do not care for them... but I use my truck for a camper, hence they are impractical. But still... I do not care for them regardless of how sharp looking a truck would be.

(I might put 'em of a Ferd though :-laf )

Triton,

I finally did it. Took a while to install but I am pretty anal on things like this. I am actually not done. I am going to build a diamond plate shield around the pipes in the bed and install a muffler to kill a bit of the noise. Don't get me wrong it sounds killer but the cops around here, i just don't want to draw attention (not like it already does)
