First off, yes, I've used the search and looked through like 50 threads. ;)

So to those running 35" or 37" tires...

How do they ride?

Any wobble?

How are they on the interstate and what speed have you gone up to?

What lift are you running?

Thank you!!

I have BFG All Terrain T/A 315s(34. 4") tires for over 40,000 miles now. I have ran BFG All Terrain T/As on most of my 4x4 trucks for over 25 years. I like the ride, the size on this truck and the looks. Like I said these have around 40,000 miles and have probably 10,000 good miles left. I don't do a lot of off roading with this truck, but have with other trucks with BFGs and they work fine off road. I have about 60% city driving and 40% highway miles so far. I had one and only one DW type issue that was not really related to the tires. I have them balanced and rotated every 5 or 6 thousand miles and keep them aired up 48-50psi front and back. My truck tracks straight and true at any speed. I can let go of the steering wheel at 85mph on level highway and it tracks perfectly straight. I have had these tires to 110mph and frequently see 85 or 90 on my weekend trips down I-10.

I have a 2" leveling kit and 35" and the ride is nice had to install an offset balljoint to get rid of a pull to the right that has been a common occurance with dodge's that have even a slight lift and noe\w it tracks nice and straight also installed a dss from source automotive and the steering is awesome now really responsive and agile for a 7000+# truck

I put on BFG KO 315 yesterday, so far no noticible issues. The ride is smoother than the stock tires. I have them on the H2 wheels, no lift kit, no rubbing.

35 inch pro comp mts here with no lift, love the ride and the gear reduction. I like the size but I would like to get my fuel mileage back to where it was with 265 (I know it is impossible) and get a tighter steering radius (which is also impossible). The 35s also showed another weakness, which was the clutch (will be upgraded to a SB fe).

Bfg 315's

HAVE BFG AT 315'S FROM DAY ONE. HAD TC LEVEL KIT. RUBBED ON CONTROL ARMS. SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTED TRUNING RADIUS.

Any wobble?

DW - REPLACED BALL JOINTS BEFORE 1000 MILES ON TRUCK. DC BLAMED LEVEL KIT AND BFG'S FOR PROBLEM. NO MORE PROBLEMS SINCE THEN.

HUMMMM.....

How are they on the interstate and what speed have you gone up to?

SELF INCRIMINATION KEEPS ME FROM MENTIONING ACTUAL SPEED BUT LET'S JUST SAY NO PROBELMS WITH SPEED. ;)

What lift are you running?

JUST INSTALLED TC 4. 5" EZ RIDE AND BILSTEINS. ;) ;) ;)

NO MORE RUBBING, TURNING RADIUS IS BACK. RIDES LIKE A DREAM

ALIGNMENT SHOP DID PROPER CASTER ADJUSTMENT ;) FINALLY SOMEONE IN SLC KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

Thank you!!

YOU'RE WELCOME

HERE'S YOUR TEN CHARACTERS... . (TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES... )

got 315's bfg all terrains, and they ride real well. fit with a leveling kit balanced out easly. Ive got aftermarket rims, so no rubbing on control arms. same turnind radius as stock. slight rubbing on back part of inner fender, have to stuff and turn at just the right time, nothing to worry about though its just on the plastic liner. top speed so far was 115mph no vibration and truck didnt feel very loose but I wouldnt recommend going that fast. rpms dropped down to 1800ish at 75mph when used to be 2000. thats with 3. 55's.

I had BFG 315s. Still do actually - just not on the truck. I had a bad DW with them and switched to some E rated 35s. If you weren't all the way in TN I would let you have mine cheap to try them out on your truck. In any other size on any other truck, I think BFG All-Terrains are a great tire. Not so sure about the 315/Cummins combo, though.

I had 35"s procomp at's on my 05'. The had too much bubble when loaded down, and they made the truck sway too much. The lost turing radius really got to me when plowing tigh spots #@$%! I put my 265's back on and plan on doing 19. 5's when I have the money. I have 19. 5's on the 04' dually and they were worth every penny, and then some. I also have no lift.

I'm running 325 60 20's with a 4. 5" lift, and I really like the ride - I think the tires are right at 35" tall. The ride is a bit choppy, but it's a truck and I expect it to ride like one - I haven't had any DW problems, but it's new still (1700 miles). On top of that, I'm getting right at 14mpg (hand calc'd).

I've been running 315 70 X 17 BFG ATs for 67K miles so far, probably another 5 - 10K left... one set, 4 tires. Rotated every 6K miles and checked air pressure every couple of weeks (50 lbs front; 40 lbs rear, empty). 60% highway 38% local, around town, 2% off road. 85% of the time empty. No leveling kit, stock springs with Edelbrock shocks. No DW, a little rubbing on the lower arm at full lock, great ride and handling, and quiet.

I've already picked up 6 new 315 70X17 BFG, with wheels, off of Hummer H2. Wheels have been machined and I'm ready to get the tires mounted this week. I figure by rotating 6 tires I should get 100K on this set! I may have to paint them different colors just to keep them straight... .

BTW... I am considering using balancing beads. Anyone have a experience with the ceramic beads (8 oz. ) inside the tire? My tire guy thinks I am crazy to try the beads.

You can see in my sig what I'm running. It took a Road Force balancer to smooth out the shakes, but after that these tires are completely smooth up to 120 or so. At least that's what my professional driver told me after a run on the test track. ;)

Ride is smoother than stock tires; less pressure, greater dia, so small bumps are less felt. You can tell the unsprung weight is up, but good shocks will handle that.

MPG down about 1 (even more in stop and go traffic). Acceleration and braking also take noticeably more effort. Steering is straight and true. For interstate cruising, it's all plusses, except for the fuel mileage.

anybody on 37's?

I've been running 35's since I got my truck, had my 35's in the garage and was waiting for tuff country to finish building their lift kit. Truck spent one week on stock tire, I've had no issues except one crappy set of BFG 315's. NO front end problems or wear problems and I'm plenty heavy up front. Truck has about 50,000 on it now and is plenty safe when it breaks 100mph passing up hill. As for mileage I don't know what the down side is? My last trip to the Portlan OR coast on winter blend was 19mpg at low 70's (1680 miles round trip) I run BFG's in the summer now and Procomp AT's in the winter on stock wheels. Anybody running 37's out there?

I have 37-13. 5-20 Toyo MT's. They are pretty smooth for a MT, I have a little vibration at around 70 MPH that I have tried to get rid of. No luck yet, but working on the Centramatics. They ride real ruff IMO. I blame the 20" wheels and load range E for that. I have 40 LBS in each tire and they still ride rough. They are not loud as of right now, but I have been told that with age they get louder.
