To those that have installed the Skyjacker 5" kit>>>

Did any of you have to use the transfer case indexing ring where the transfer case is rotated to lessen the front driveshaft angle? Have you had any vibration after installing the kit? Anything you don't like about the kit?

Thinking about purchasing this kit and would like to get some feedback.

I've been told that the truck actually gets 4. 5" of lift with the Cummins and 5" with the gas motor. If I get this kit, i'll go with the replacement leaf springs.

i currently run the sj 4. 5" lift on my 2 gen. i didnt have to re-index the t-case. i DID have rear driveline vib after install. after shimming the carrier bearing . 5 inchs it fixed the prob. if i could do it again i wouldnt. hard for the kids to get in and out. cant get a fifth wheel. etc. if i could do it again id go for the KORE system. i do wheel alot w/ the truck and it does alright for a long bed. good luck bro. my . 02
