i am goin to take the leap and get a chase system, just wanted to know how many people put it on them selves and if it was an easy install or a big *****ed pain. one of the local shops here in vegas wanted $700 to install, glad i didn't have to go or my sons would have been laughing at me, needing to change my underwear and all. I would really like Greg to do it and watch and learn but he is gonna be busy for awhile, not sure if i could wait with new toys still in the box. :-laf On another note, what size tires did you go with? 35-37? thinking about the fiberglass fenders aswell.

I put my Chase own by myself with a floor jack, some stands and a couple of air wrenches. It took me an afternoon. I went with the Toyo 35X12. 5/17s on the stock rims and needed no wheel well modification. If yo ugo with a wider wheel or the wrong offset a 35" tire will require some triming of the wheel wells.

Fred Swanson

 Call Fred Swanson in the Phoenix area. He's an authorized KORE installer and real reasonable. Busy guy so book early. #623-910-9575

I did mine myself in the garage with hand tools, floor jack and stands. I wouldn't hesitate doing it again. It comes with very good instructions and everything fits right. I went with the 35" Toyo M/T's on the Kore Weld Wheels. I have slight rubbing on the lower control arm at full turn.

I'm planning on installing the Chase system myself, stock tires for now. JTreas, did you pick your system up? Twenty Nine Palms can't be too far from Vegas. Every time I hear the name "Twenty Nine Palms" I think of Robert Plant.

I did mine by myself in the driveway with a jack, jack stands, and hand tools. It took me two days, four hours each day. Just put Greg on your speed dail before you start, I had a couple question for him. The Chase with Toyo's is a great combo, I run my truck hard offroad, and it eats it all up. :D

I paid the $500 and had J&H do it here in Redding - they did a really nice job. I have 35" Toyo on 18" Eagle 114's and no rub at all. Check the gallery for photo - got to update with a daylight photo!

I installed my Chase and it was straightforward. KORE's direcions are clear and thorough. I could have shown it to you while I was in Vegas, just left today and am back in Alb. until May Madness.

thanks for the thought joe, and no i don't have the system yet, still figuring out what on my wish list comes after the chase. found a website that has the eagle 114's on sale and they claim to have Toyo M/Ts in stock, gonna give them a call somtime today.

JTreas,

I have a couple of openings in the next two weeks. We are very busy with a buildup of a 2500 for Off Road Magazine. It should be close to completion by the middle of next week. We are waiting on a few trick parts... ... After that I will be ready to rock with only one appointment so far this month. Call me to book a spot!

Joe,

How is the Chase treating you? Have you hit any whoops yet? :)

Greg

you got it greg, i'll give you a call when i get my check. i do have a few questions about rims though. if i go after market what kind of offset and backspacing should i look for ? and do the parnelli jones come in a 35x12. 5. 18?

and should i be looking in to an aftermarket stearing box?

So far, I haven't hit anything that the CHASE didn't render wimpy :D

It is one H&## of a suspension, hard to believe (1) it is so much better than the Dodge suspension, and (2) it was such a reasonably priced, easily installed system for what it does.

JTreas,

I did the install myself in my parents driveway in the rain with 2 floorjacks(heavy duty) and a jack along with pneumatics and hand tools. Not a bad install thanks to the directions. Good luck!

well its a done deal, in a few weeks i'm gonna be busy under my truck. chase, steering stabilizer and 37's goodyear mtrs on new rims. probly be goin with some fenders in a few months.
