BUT by spring the great reporters - spouting the CRAP from the oil companies - said that gasoline will be at least $4. 00 by Spring!!!!



Well that means Diesel will probably be $5. 00 then - Good Bye a lifestyle that we all loved... ..... this will make the use of using a diesel pickup - and pulling an RV out of the reach of the normal guy!!!!! The sales of these rigs and RV's will GO IN THE TOILET! Only the well heeled - will be doing that I'm afraid... .



I don't know about you - But I refuse to use a vehicle that gets 17 MPG average at $5. 00/gallon!!!! I can't have Uncle Sam help me by writing it off (and you flat tax guys - that proposal wouldn't allow this either)...



and I for one am sick and tired of hearing - "..... oh it only costs an extra ____ to drive my rig and my 5er... . I will gladly pay for my vacation!" Can you say LEMMING!!!!

But on the positive side..... looks to be another billion + dollar profit year for the exxon and the other mega rich and just keep on getting richer oil companies!

I hate to say this, but nobody in the front office really cares about the average American citizen.



Everytime I call/email my legislators about this issue, I get a response that is totally evading the issue.



They don't have a clue/and or don't care.



I think we need more legislators. There are only 100 senators and 435 Congressmen/women to represent 300+ million people at the federal level.

My shipping costs just keep going up also. Everything will go up but wages. So conserving fuel will only help to a small degree.

If you want to make a difference, go to your local poling place on Tuesday. Look at the ballot and find everyone who is an incumbent. Then vote for the other person.
