Arizona Gas Guzzlers?

Actually, this IS today's weather...

40 degrees, bright warm sun, in fact, so warm, you can go out in short sleeves.

Believe it or not it was 31 on the gulf coast this morning. Kinda chilly for this time of year. Had two people ask me about firewood. Sorry, I'm sold out for now!

40* and your in short sleeves?!?! It has held at 40 here all day, and the temp on the overhead consule read 27 last night!!!

Sure looks beautiful with the open skys though, it's the same here right now with no clouds.

Andrew

21° here today with a low of -3°, still short sleeve weather with the bright sun. When it hits 40° it's time for shorts. Guess it's all relative.

Larry, I edited your image.

I thought it looked like a really nice day. Does this look better?

Yea Mark, I quit the film thing a couple of years ago. I now store all my images on CD.

The first set I took an hour ago with my old beater camera Epson PhotoPC 600.

The shot with the boat I got last week with my Fuji S1 Pro. It even has a removable micro 1gig hard drive in it. stores up to 3000 pictures. Plugs into USB port and the computer sees it as another hard drive. works slick.

Yes, we have lots of trees. In fact, the mountains you see in the distance are very much covered in trees.

Here's wallowa lake. Note the mountains in the distance.

Here's some Washington scenery...

There's nothing like that ANYWHERE in Texas...

Based on your pictures, there is nothing like that near you also. It looks like you live on the surface of the moon.

The lake at the top is about 80 miles away.

The Umatilla National Forest is about 10 miles away. And I mean, 10 miles to real forest.

I live at the base of the Blue Mountains, and there's a LOT of wheat fields here. That's mostly what you're looking at in the pictures. The mountains in the distance are really. . just a few miles.

We're in deep DO-DO

2 feet of snow in my neck of the woods this morning  Gotta love those lake effect storms.

Oh well we had to get some winter sometime...
