Another TDR member said you fixed the shut down problem with your PM3 by cutting a signal wire to the ECM? What wire was it? And finally what was the voltage that this wire need to be limited to?

the wire is in the harness above the valve cover. it is a white wire, with a orange trace-stripe. the wire has a signwav on it and you cant just limit the voltage. for now we will be forced to switch the wire manually. :mad:



I have talked with Mark at TST and he is supposed to be working on something that would be automatic. either controlled by the amount of boost or something like that.



what i did, was i ran two wires into the cab and mounted a rocker switch in the roof of the ashtray. (that is where I keep the remote for my powermax3 too. ) when I know I am going to breech 85mph, I open the ashtray, and turn the switch off.



its nice there because at night, the light for the ashtray lights the inside up and shows you where the switch and remote are. :D



that is if you dont smoke. :D



I plan to give Mark a chance to come up with something. if he doesnt, then the market is open, if you know what i mean. :D
 
please, if any of you guys that have a 2001 or newer truck with a Power max box, that is having this problem call TST and let them know...

Mark tells me he doesnt get on here that much anymore. so dont assume he will see us talking about it and... ... walla.



if they dont come up with a fix in month or so... I have friends that dream this kinda thing, we'll hit them up for a fix. :D
 
Hi Todd, My computer died and I had to reload. I lost all my e-mail addresses. When the air box is ready let me know.
