toe fungus

Has anyone here had laser treatment for toe fungus ? Did it work ?

My advise is to make SURE it's actually fungus. My brother's wife had hers done and they came back the same. Podiatrist then told her it psoriasis (or some other skin condition, I can't remember), not fungus, and that there was nothing else he could do.

Try soaking them in White Vinegar or Hydrogen Peroxide.

Some advice from the KIDS they are Paramedics NOT DOCTORS SO TAKE IT HOW YOU WANT. They said that a Fungus cant live in an acid environment so use that fungi cure and keep using it untill it THE FUNGUS is gone and then a bit longer.



They also said that the laser deal has a very high incidence of NAIL BED DESTRUCTION in other words it mess up the part under the nail and the part that produces the nail. Ya it might fix the nasty toe nail but when you dont have a nail because of what the laser did who cares. JTO (just their opinion)\\





After posting this the Daughter called and we talked she then said the she ran it by the Doctor she works with ( She's in the Air Force) so if that doesnt matter he said the same thing that a fungus cant live in acid so Pee on your toes. Had a SUPER BAD CASE OF JUNGLE ROTT on my toes when in Nam Doctor told me the same thing, Didn't work out because we didnt get to shower very often and not long after that my left one came up missing so didnt have that problem on my left one any longer.

Yeah,

When its under the nail like mine, the topical stuff doesnt work. Only the pills which can kill you. The laser is fda approved for safety (its not supposed to hurt you). I had it done yesterday. Ill see in about 6 months as my toe nails grow out to see if it really works. Its done by a podiatrist.

Then perhaps vinegar would kill it? I would rather use vinegar that pi$$ on my toes (on purpose that is).

At least you don't have to worry about termites.













Do get the ghost limb syndrome? My buddy lost an arm years ago and still complains about it hurting even though it's not there.

I had an uncle that lost all the fingers on his right hand when he was 11 years old. Just before he died at 86 years old he told me that his fingers that were gone would still itch from time to time.

Ya the wife looks at me from across the room and says im tickling your foot and it makes me laugh. I do from time to time get a burning sensation like when it was blown off. It did not hurt it just felt like someone had a torch on my calf.



Its funny now but then it wasn't. When It went down I was running to a Army Helio to get the H out. I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER was hitting the fan BIG TIME I could not hear anything because of the 60 that I was using and I had this GIANT FLASH go off next to me. My first thought was who the Hell is taking pictures. :-laf I couldn't see because of how bright the flash was and I thought that I just fell down. My leg was on FIRE when I could see again everything was going real slow like in slow motion. I kept trying to get up and couldn't I looked down at my leg and from the knee down was just mush and blood like I had NEVER seen. The instant that I thought that so this is the way im going out 2 guys John Cline and Bob Sampson grabbed my belt and were dragging me to the copter. They tried SEVERAL TIMES TO GET ME IN THE HIELO AND WERE UNSUSSFUEL FACE FIRST. :-laf The door gunner grabbed me and pulled me in and off we went to the Hospital ship in the Gulf.



Bob and John had lines in their arm hooked to me Bob a big black man said when I came around that your going to LOVE BBQ and John a Mexican said as long as its SPICEY :-laf

JLEONARD, urine has anit-bodies in it. Their use to be an epression "Pee on it".



I have a cousin that was nurse her child developed sores (or rash) in her mouth the doctors tried all sort of anti-biotics nothing got rid of it. One day the head (teaching) nurse of the nursing school she went to called her. My cousin told her about the problem she told my cousin she forgot what she was taught and told her to take some of her child's pee and wipe /rinse the child's mouth out with it. In about a week the sores/rash went away.

But fungus is a different story.
