2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Toe in speks & ride higth

I have a 97 2wd 3500 and i want to set the toe in. The speks i find call for 1 degre plus or minus negative. How much would this be in inches? Also is there a good way to raise the front end? I think the truck would look better if it dident set tail high. Thanks BOB
