All- Brand Dyno Shootout Nov 5.

ST Louis DYNO day... (all brands)

I have a tab kit from TST for my 1996 that needs to be put on. I have a leaking seal between the power steering and vacuum pump. Would like to install a fuel plate and possibly change out the mirrors for the new power towing mirrors. Can anybody help out since I don't know how to do these things?

What would I need to bring up? My wife would not be interested in camping - her idea of roughing it is a hotel room! :-laf

My wife, son his girlfriend and i are planing on bringing both of our trucks down :) . I don't know if we are coming on friday night or saturday morning. We will probobly stay in a hotel but will have to come hang out at the campground untill bed time. As far as repairs i think we are all set but the kid has been looking for every bit of info he can on pumping up his first gen. He will be looking for as much info as you guys can give him. Hopefully will see all of you there. :-laf

Scott i could not have said it better myself.

John i offered to haul bills truck anywhere it needs to go, with using your trailer of course ;) You're one hell of a good friend as well!!!!!!!

My truck is in the classifieds if anyone is interrested, or knows of anyone that interrested.

Might have to fly out for training that weekend, not sure yet. But i'd be willing to help with the fuel plate and mirror install. About an hr and hlf it'll be done.

jschafer... . If he's looking to "pump up his first gen" you might want to get a restraining order against Partsman... :-laf

Woodsrat... Hopefully "truck driver" will be there. She'll show that ole rattlesnake a thing or two. :-laf I can bring some hamburger if I get a rough idea on how much to bring. Other than that Im going to bring Dr. Dainels, some hand tools, and a lil tylenol. Oo.

:--) I found the other half of the skin tonite, the damn thing ended up being 3. 5 feet long. Went clear through the camper again still didnt find anything hope its gone!!

I'm already a seasoned pro at beer drinkin... ... ...

Safety Kleen has welcomed me, so i'm taking.

Would love to donate the truck, just need to cash to purchase another truck.

Ian can you make Bill a new piston and head ??

Curtis

Jon trade for white truck ??

Im not sure on the head/piston but Mid-America has a sister company (smaller) called "Mid-America Motors" for the owners many many many corvets & mustangs. From what Ive heard they are using the in house dyno currently with a duramax & dual shot nitros (just motor no truck)

They took 2 ski doo tripple (Im not sure on the brand) cut the back cylinders off and stuck them together

The motor shop is in Norville somewhere. I just got done tonight hi-polishing (mirror finish) blower parts for the owners speed/race boat along with the nitros bottle brackets. Apparently drugs are a choice for power

Ive had quite a few talks with the boss man about the my truck since he noticed the 6" tip, and gauges. He said he looked into the cummins but it wasnt the best choice for a drag motor

Ok back to the cook out, Ill order the mirrors tonight and hopefully they will be in by next weekend Oo.

Help R-N-R

Well R-N-R this is that time in your life when you ask yourself do I want to blaze up and down the boulevard or burn up and the boulevard. I'm not that far away from you and I’ve done my share of Diesel engine pulls and swaps. If you need any help at all you can call on me!!

we will be there friday, taking the wife's new 06, picking up bill and his trailer on our way down. looking forward to meeting everyone, and drinking lots of beer :D

If anyone needs us to bring anything, just let us know.

Scott & TJ

Hi Proturbo99, that is music to my ears! Oo. I really appreciate the offer!

Unfortunately, no time for notice, but I am pulling the engine Sunday the 4th late morning through early evening (I hope). YGPM!

Anybodyelse looking for something to do on a nice Sunday, stop on by to lend a hand, eye, knowledge, or just to visit! Post or PM me for directions and Map!

Unfortunately I don't expect to have all my ducks in a row in time for re-installing in toledo. But I look forward to being there, catching up with friends and meeting new friends. Graphicman and CTDgirl are making my trip possible, you both are too cool!

JDAkin, thank you for the offer to trailer me down, that is also very

How far to your shop from camp ground? Any hotels in the area that you would recomend, B Benz have you found a hotel yet or anybody else not staying at campground?

Also anything needed for the cook out or are you going to take up a collection.

let me know

Joe

the campground is about 15 miles from the shop. there are lots of hotels in the area. ive never stayed at any of them so i dont know what to recommend. there is a clarion hotel on secor rd that is on the way from the campground to the shop. we all could stop in and you could join the convoy. lol. it is a fairly pricey one though. look up choicehotels.com. clarion hotel westgate is the one on the way. the one on alexis rd is fairly close to my house. we can convoy past either one or you can just meet us at the shop. what day do you plan on coming?

i dont know what to have everyone bring. probably lots of hamburger, buns, bratworst or hot dogs. chips or other snacks. maybe some potato salad.

i plan on bringing a big package of hamburger. a couple bags of hamburger buns. and some mustard potato salad.

how many people plan on coming? by my count so far it looks like about 14 or 15 not including families. lets see if this is accurate so we can figure out how much food we need. i dont want to take up a collection for food unless it would be easier for everyone. the only thing i ask so far is 5 bucks or so toward the rental of a porta-john. if only money grew on trees i would pay for everything. lol.

cant wait to see everyone. if anyone needs directions just let me know. see you all this weekend.

mark

Well my schedule and Geneva's schedules have collided and of course mine is the one to get the axe.

I won't be coming, have a great weekend.
