Have you read Clancy's "Sum of All Fears"?

Hope the nukes stay accounted for, but like the guy said in that John Travolta movie, "Broken Arrow" after the bad guys got the warhead, "I don't know what's worse. The fact that it happened, or the fact that it happens often enough that you gave it a name!" (or words to that effect)

I've read them all... . I , too, was wondering when somebody would mention it... only in the book, it was Japanese terrorists that flew a plane into the Capitol building, if I remember correctly. Small difference.

I doubt the shaky sheiks have enough time left over from training, and riding camels, to read Tom Clancy. All that oil from the AK-47's and RPG-7's would get all over the book's pages and make 'em hard to read anyway.

As I watched this unfold over the last few days, I told my wife that this whole thing reads like a Tom Clancy novel. This one's for real, though!

Anyone catch the interview with Tom Clancy on CNN? Forget the particulars but in general, the interviewer asked how intelligence slipped and Clancy let her have it on behalf of CNN and the rest of the liberal's always bashing the CIA, etc.
