Competition Auto transmission for Sledpulling....

But for some reason I never got a stack that points the wrong way, the death wobble or a womanly auto transmission, what's up with that Tim??? This is Tom speaking.

TOM, dont forget to put oil in those rockwells, i drained then befor u picked em up. and i think that you made the right choice going with the 5 ton's should totaly kick ***!

JUSTIN

And that 3 speed on the floor should be to your advantage... .

But all kidding aside... I want to thank Tom and Hemijustin for giving up their weekend to help(basically run the install) with my twins. They spent the weekend with us and worked on my truck. The twins install went fairly fast from what I have heard it takes. But there were 4 guys working on it too. .

I took the truck apart on Friday night before Tom and Justin got there. . Saturday morning after breakfast we finally got started about 8:30 or so and by 6 pm that night the truck was started and checked for leaks.

There is NO lag compared to the stock single(HX35/14) and it feels so strong. I wish I had put them on sooner.

Again thanks guys for stepping up to the plate and helping. .

And I almost forgot... my son Rickey did an outstanding job as well.

Mr. Gene, I mean sledpuller, could you just hire me on to pilot the big red beast for the '06 DHRA season?????

Holy Crud, I was wondering when you were going to respond Tom, I'd try negotiating the deal. Only problem is, its the wrong color for you, I'm not sure your JD green accessories would go well, might look like a Christmas tree :-laf Besides, I'm not sure you want topull ol' red, if I remember correctly, it got whooped a number of times this year by 24V's. :{ I'm sure Gene will have something to add to this :-laf

In the DHRA series(not counting qualifying) Old Red is:

17-8 vs 24 valves

14-10 vs 12 valves

6-5 vs Chevys

That is only the trucks that finished ahead of me, at one pull or another,13 trucks total.

I think Tom could jump right in it as it sits and put a whooppin or two on the 24 valves!

To be fair, the 24 valves were handicapped with Ray on their team, 6-2!! ;) :D

NO JD GREEN!!!

Well personally I don't care what color the truck is as long as it runs hard, another east coast hiljack trait that I proudly have. What do you think Craig, some big mudflaps on that thing and a CB, I think it will be ready to rock!!!!!

So Gene, how about that driver position????

If you find a major sponsor, we'll talk.

I may be putting my 18 year old niece in it with a stock turbo, and have her run it locally. No trailer, drive in, drive home. :-laf
