Any word on ordering a 06 with a exhaust brake. On someother forum someone stated they had ordered a 06 with auto and exhaust brake.

yep, done deal... .

it will be installed here at the dealership though, not at the factory

The question of the need for an exhaust brake came up on rv.net. It was interesting to heard all the Chevy D/A owners who claimed that they did not need an exhaust brake because of the way the Allison transmission worked. I tried to explain that a transmission cannot make up for the lack of engine braking with a diesel engine, but I think it fell on deaf ears.

What's up with not backporting it to the earlier years? What's different? New Computer or something? If so, did they do anyting with the transmission shift logic?
