Are you able to get a Ca. spec truck or deliver here? I've heard they have or are going to increase the 6 month/7500 mile rule to register an out of state truck here.

Not so. If it doesn't have the CARB sticker under the hood out it goes. My buddie bought a truck here in CA from a dealer new and they had to buy it back because of the CARB sticker thing. Last I heard it was 9 months AND 7500 miles minimum to register an out of state vehicle. Got any friends/family in OR? That or just get a CA spec truck, but remeber you will have to pay sales tax on the truck when you get back to CA to register it.

Darn government. When I bought my 03 in OR it was 7500 miles to register in state, no matter how long. If you didn't want to pay sales tax you had to wait 90 days. Much easier.

You might try Rob Crosswhite at Dishman in Spokane... they can deliver a CA truck and do it for 1000 under invoice and rebates to TDR members... . the farm bureau rebate will just about cover your air fair to pick it up...
