Wrong, CA hates offroading, many areas are closed, red sticker restrictions on many new bikes, etc... .

Absolutely! the truck can be CARB certified if I order it that way. . Still waiting on the waiver though... .

here's what my buddies do, go and buy the truck from tommy, while you are waiting, get a po box in Missouri, and then go to the dmv and get a license. many private po boxes have actual street addresses, tell the dmv its an apartment.

register in st louis, and if you get caught tell the cop (typically Chp), tell him its a work vehicle and you have it here on business.



its worked for all my friends that bought in another state, several went to court and won the ticket. dmv in Sacramento will tell you that the chp can't make you license in California if you have property in other states or business interests. trust me, I've seen it happen many times with many friends. . and all won in court so far, regardless of what you are being told.



this state is becoming so communist its a joke. I can come here illegally, and no one will touch me, and I get free medical and my kids get free schooling, yet if I have an out of state vehicle, the dmv and chp is all over you.

Checked out the website to see what the prices are running and holy cow :--).

Darn things shot up through the roof. My employer is a preferred carrier for Chrysler and I wonder what 1% over invoice would do to the price of a new one, how far it would drop. I paid 27k for my current truck and really

don't see shelling out over 30k for another. Guess I will keep mine till

it's vintage.
