Tonights (8/15) site outage from ~8:38-9:54pm eastern

The site was unavailable tonight from ~8:38-9:54pm eastern time. It wasn't any of our equipment that caused the outage - the servers stayed up and running through the whole thing. The entire facility we are hosted in was down. Here is the explanation they sent:

We encountered failure on a cooling unit. Due to the high heat in the Atlanta area this caused heating issues within the colo. We had to roll power down on several devices to help cooling and avoid overheating major devices. The cooling unit has been repaired and all is resuming back to normal. Let us know if you have any other issues. We will make a formal statement in the customer area by Thursday. We apologize for any inconveniences.

They came back the next day with a more complete explanation of what happened - they had 1 cooling unit failed and then a second failed as well. It also brought to light a few other shortcomings in their support system. They have come up with a good plan to avoid this situation in the future and to fix the support system shortcomings. They answered all of my questions without me even having to ask them.
