Too Cat or Turbo back, this is the ?

It seems confusing to me as to which exhaust brand to install let alone the location. Some manufactures like the down tube from the turbo to the cat, others hate it!

On the other side I`ll install either the Scotty 5, or a Pro Gaurd 7 AFE and a Quadzilla XTZ box for towing.

The only people that need a turbo-back system are people like me, with a truck older than 04. 5. The 325hp models have a 4" downpipe, the older trucks have a 3. 5" downpipe.



Get a cat-back system and save your money. I don't know if I'd ditch the cat if I were you, I think Nevada does diesel smog tests. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You have 4 inch pipes already, what you need is a muffler that flows well and maybe a cat test pipe if you off road and or race. The MBRP performance muffler bolts right on and is built from 409 stainless like the stock system for Dodge is. It has welded hangers that re use the stock rubber mounts and sound good when you have your foot in it too. For folks that have a 2004. 5-2005 it's the best deal going. We have full systems that we will sell you but the muffler gets you 95% of the advantage of a full system at 1/4er the price. The AFE Stage II is a great flowing intake you'll love it! Be sure to get the PRo Guard 7 filter for it to stop the dirt.
