OK, a couple weekends ago I threw a code on my truck and it went into limp mode. It was very cold out and my truck was outside and it took a long time to start. There was a long drain on the batteries. I finally got the code cleared today with the COMP off and it is for low MAP sensor voltage. So my question is do I have a bad COMP or was there too much drain on the truck starting that it did not have enough volts to feed the MAP sensor? My COMP is currently unplugged, but I either need to put it back in or hook up the waste gate on my turbo again.

Thanks,

Eric

The problem was most likely a bad connection going to the MAP sensor, which you corrected by unplugging and replugging the harness when you disconnected the box. I would get some dielectric grease to put in the connector.

I just got off the phone with Aaron @ Edge. He believes it was moisture at the MAP sensor and suggests I follow Jeston's suggestion about greasing the connector. He also said that if it still threw a code, that he would send me a new box and harness. Great customer support:)

I was also having a problem which I seem to have chased away for a while now concerning the MAP connection. All I had at the time was some WD-40 to spray in the connectors and I have not had a problem since.
