I pulled wed. and the truck ran fine no problems afterwards.
then i pulled on thurs. and when i got to the end of the track there was a puddle of oil on the track.
Found out it was the tappet cover that had blown the gasket. so i fixed that then now i noticed that not only did the tappet cover blow so did the timing cover gasket. looked a little more at the timing cover and the fan pully is touching the cover and the paint on the cover is cracked like its from excessive pressure
Now here is my thoughts.
1. Could it be that i need some breathers in the valve covers? because of the pressure at 4000 RPM's??
2. or maybe because i got the EGT's above 1600 too many times and i ruined my rings and im pushing 60PSI of boost into the pan????
