I seen a 95 2500 4x4 with 239,000 for $14,000. Granted the truck was clean inside and out but isn't that a little steep? The truck is stock. What would one of these go for hear in Northwest Oregon?
I wouln't pay that much. Blue book is 11,000 if it is a standard cab and 12,000 if it is a club cab. I know alot of people would look at the mileage and say "It is a Cummins... . just broken in. " But the fact of the matter is the Dodge part has 240,000 miles on it.
I would't buy it either for that price. Last night in one of the Truck Traders I picked up there is a 95 12v clubcab 2500 4x4 5spd SLT for $15,000. With 1/2 that mileage.
I just bought my late model 97 for $14k with 90,000 miles. It is real clean on the outside, the inside bed was scraped up a bit(now Line-Xed, looks great), inside had a lot of dirt but cleanable.
I paid $8,500 for my '95 dually reg. cab, 236,000 then, about a yr. ago. It has some scratches, but runs great. For me, and I'm not too hard to please, it was a pretty good deal. I'd never pay new prices, unless I had a thriving business and could depreciate them. Kirk
I checked blue book and it was a little high. I don't put too much trust in the bluebook anyways. It says my 76' Jeep CJ-5 is only worth $1200 in perfect shape. A guy I work with has a 85 Jeep Cherkee and it had 300,000 miles with a 2. 8l engine. It was a POS and it was worth $3200.
I already have a CTD, but saw that one for 14,000. I guess if someone wants it bad enough, plus it was asking price. It was supper clean and a clubcab.
