Took my truck to the track for the first time last night and was very impressed at what it ran for having so little done to it. Best time was a 15. 73 @ 85. 40 mph. Made 2 passes against a couple of powerstrokes aaaaaand I think they will have to do a little more work. :-laf So what should I do next ??? :D

GSK is a must. I started off witht 3K but now want to upgrade to a 4K. You will also notice a difference with delivery valves and injectors. I have all that and a modified turbo and am running a 14. 9. 12V's are awesome cuz you can do so much for so little money! Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

Install a lock-up switch for your torque converter. You will notice a nice drop in times if you are able to lock up your converter before it usually does when it hits overdrive. 40mph is a good speed for a mild light truck. The more hp you add, the lower the mph you can lock it up at.

15. 7 is a good 1/4 mile pass. I took mine out for the first time in Sept. and only ran a 16. 9 @ 80 mph. I couldn't leave the line w/a lot of boost or I would do a one legged burn out. I will try chrled1 advise on the next outing regarding the lockup switch. I locked up mine much later.

My next mod will be dv's and 370's. I will be trying dv's first to make sure my egt's don't go nuts when I tow.
