Just a little geewhiz info

I have and 05 auto, quad cab, short bed, 3:73 gears.

Installed a quadzilla race box, AFE intake and strait piped (no cat no muffler)

The track i raced at is at 5300 feet above sea level.

I did a burn out got the tires nice and sticky.

ran a 2. 2 60 foot and a 15. 1 sec quarter mile at 89 mph on the 130 hp setting.

It was fun... hope you enjoyed the 411!

yes sir the truck is a 4x4. I did launch a few times is 4 wheel drive and ran 15. 2 and 15. 4(slower reaction time on the slower run)

the 15. 1 run was in 2 high with a good burnout... I did run in 2 high without a burnout and smoked the tires the whole 60' and ran a 15. 6.

The 4 speed auto tends to hold onto 3rd gear when your holding to the floor resulting in a lower MPH across the finish line. I think the transmission is thinking im pulling a load and is holding third the keep me moving.

I had to let off a little to get it to up shift and by that time im close to the end and out of track. Maybe increase line pressure or better torque converter would help... but im just messing around.

Yes its super loud... Im going to get a strait throug muffler ASAP! Its way louder than my 95 12 valve strait piped for sure... also no check engine light without the cat!

Somebosy with more experience can help BUT

Burnouts with regular street tires are for the driver and fans NOT for any additional stick as done with slicks... ... . but we all like at times to burn rubber... ...

Pretty cool, those are really good times, my trans does will not shift out of 3rd unless I let off either. I recently put a Magnaflow race muffler on my truck, it is pretty quiet as I still have the cat but when you get above 2000 rpm you can hear it pretty well. The muffler is only 14" long, see right through it. I used the 5" X 8". http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02race.asp

as for burnouts on street tires being for the driver and fans i agree and disagree. I agree yes its looks cool, blows alot of smoke a kills the tires but also From my runs in 2 high without the burnout the tires broke loose the whole 60' when i did a burn out the truck hooked up real good... but those BFG tires do chunk off alot when you do that!
