Why does the sheet not show the full dyno run? Looks the the numbers start at the peak and are falling throughout the run. I am assuming this was an auto truck and they are showing coming off of the 3rd-4th gear shift. I would like to see the whole run.

Dyno numbers for anything other than the 1:1 gear are useless numbers IMHO. I've dyno quite a few time performance gas motor and the final dyno numbers have always been only in the 1:1 gear. The truck print does start at a higher RPM than I would have liked because I know these trucks make their max torque lower than that in the RPM band but the trucks can't hold 3rd gear in Auto so its 'tough' to run it up to speed in 3rd and then let the RPMS drop to 1800 and then hammer it for a run without the transmission downshifting and screwing up the numbers. Even then though, at 1800 RPM I doubt the torque converter is above its stall speed which would then produce an erroneous peak torque number

The torque peaks at the start which would seem to indicate that technically the truck has a higher peak torque number. The HP was a gradual increase from start and peaked around 2900 so I feel good about that number

I did not ask for a full run print so I have none to share, IME full run prints are a great way to tune yourself (aka driver) to what your shift points should be across a 1/4 run where as power dyno pulls are for the express purpose of figuring out the peak # at the rear tire and the way the dyno operator drives the car on the dyno for each is different.

You can lock 4th out on the 2005 trucks. So then you can run a full sweep like everyone else. I do it all the time.

I would like to see that chart without the spike coming out of 2nd or 3rd.

Ihvae dynoed a lot of cars. 1:1 gear does not have any real bearing on power. I have used 3rd and 4th. and the only difference is the time it takes for the run, 1:1 qill show you a little better, and make it easier to tune a car.

I agree though the numbers on the graph are at least torque are not close to peak, its another 1k rpm downprobably up[ in the 8's seeing how far its dropping
