Took the leap on Wednesday!

After a couple of months of looking them all over, I ordered my new Quad Cab 4X4 Cummins HO on Wednesday. This is my first diesel truck and as you can imagine I'm pretty excited. I ordered a loaded up SLT with pretty much everything but powered pedals and leather. I traveled about 90 miles from home to order the truck and it was well worth it. Adrian at Mark Roberts Motors in Bartlesville, OK made the process very smooth and downright delightful. I really got a great deal. Thanks to everyone who posts here, It helped greatly in making an informed decision. The toughest part of this whole deal will be letting go of my 98 Quad Cab 4X4 gasser half-ton. It has been a pleasure to own. I've been driving my father's Ford Diesel 7. 3 the last year on fishing trips, etc. and it has been a great vehicle, and hooked me in to wanting a diesel. There is no denying that Dodge has the best cab arrangement, and the proven reliability of the Cummins speaks for itself. Now the wait begins!

I just bought my first CDT about 5 weeks ago. I absolutely love it. I can't believe I waited this long to get one. Every time I get in it, I have an ear to ear smile and I turn off the radio so I can hear the turbo whine. OH YEA !Oo. Oo. Congratulations on yours, I hope you love it as much as I love mine.

I'm on my 3rd CTD... ... My first was purchased in December 1997 as a 1998 2500 SLT 4x4 Regular Cab 12V 5-speed Flame Red Sport; My 2nd was purchased September 1999 as a 2000 2500 SLT Quad Cab 24V Auto Flame Red Sport; and as of March 28th a 2003 2500 SLT Quad Cab HO 6-speed Bright White Sport. Although I've never done crack, these CTD's are like crack--once you get one, you have to have more... ... .
