Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Took the Leap.......

Hello all, it has been a while since I've posted (too busy enjoying truck. ) Anyways the reason I write this is, after about a month of actively searching the archives, I have decided to return to the in-debt line and purchase a full DTT setup for my truck. I have been researching all the products out there and I think I made the right choice. I ordered the 89% TC and the towing series VB. One thing I really hadn't given much thought about was the update kit for the transmission. But Stefan (or is it stephan) being the good salesman he is, talked me into it. I hope I have as good an experience with my transmission as everyone else has. Anyhow just wanted to say thanks to all who post on this board, the membership is truly money well spent in my opinion.



PS. Kat, why dont you let me borrow your truck while mine is in the shop???

That's the exact thing I did two weeks ago, and mine will be going in Saturday, truck returned Sunday. I too called Stefan (did you know he's only 20, coulda fooled me over the phone and I'm only 19). I also hadn't given much thought to the update kit, and he as well as Fred at Desert Diesel talked me into it.



Anyway, hope you're as happy with yours as I know I'll be with mine after all the good things I've read.
