Took the the Smarty off.........PROBLEMS... Please help

Wow am I glad I decided to stay with the TST and VA 3. 1, I know my post isn't helping anyone but it really sucks that you guys are basically beta testing someones product so they can work out the rest of the bugs. Sorry to hear of the downloader troubles!!!

I guess I forgot to post on this forum that I got it solved. I took the bully dog off and reloaded it. Everything is good to go now.

That's exactly what's going on. If it doesn't work then you get a program sent to you to try out.



Im just excited that I got it fixed! Oo. Like I've said before... I don't care what downloader it is. NONE of them are PERFECT. I think we all need to accept the fact that it isn't perfect and move on.



Some of the claims made on ALL of the downloaders are simply rediculous. They all have their problems... my . 02 cents

This is the exact reason I wanted to try one before I spent $650+. Downloaders make about as much sense as John Kerry. :-laf



Maybe after all the bugs are worked out and the speed limiter and rpm barrier is broke I'll give it another shot

Whoa, whoa Luken, downloaders are no where near as bad or unreliable as John Kerry!!! :-laf Nor as bad as Ted Kennedy, Billary, Diane Finestein etc, etc. I have never heard of a downloader trying to take my second ammendment rights away (nor raise my taxes).

And for what it's worth, I've never had an issue loading, or unloading my power pup, including when I borrowed a smarty, and tried it out. It ran virtually the same as the power pup. Gave me an extra 3 hp on level 8, vs extreme on the power pup, using the same TST settings.

I have no idea... A couple of guys told me to do it and it helped



Im taking the truck to the dealer for them to check it out. Before anyone asks, yes it is a mod friendly dealer. They have watched me at the racetrack...

It has something to do with clearing out the ABS codes. Bullydog used to give you a paper with the downloaders telling you to do this if it threw the ABS light
