Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tool to retorque head bolts

I just pulled the valve cover off to check the torque of the head bolts and can't get a socket between the rocker arm push rods. I was wondering what tool I need to get that would work. I also tried one of those open ended line tools and I would not fit either.

The only way I know to do it is to pull the rocker assy off. I'm not sure I would try to retorque the stock headbolts.

You can generally retorque the stock head bolts. You have to take the rocker arms off, no way around it.

No reason to re-torque the head bolts, unless you have recently had the head off.
