I vaguely remember reading in the owner's manual about needing no drill mounting clips from the dealer to mount a toolbox in the bed.

1) Am I halucinating?

2) Are they available anywhere but Dodge?

3) Anyone have other ideas?

Thank You

Are they worried about ripping the holes out or something? I normally drill holes. Last time I didn't, but that was to clear a fuel tank. What I used, were basically J bolts, that had rubber on the end that touched the bed. Bought them from Farm & Fleet for ~ $5.

Dodge makes a kit to reenforce the corners of the bed to support the weight of the toolboxes contents. I guess the bed sides may crack if you don't use it. Costs about $75. Ken Irwin
