Hey Gang here is an update being it has been a while and SOOOO much has gone by. Ash is doing great! She FINALLY done with a series of 15 small seurgeries that had stretched her esophegual tract to something that can now grow WITH her as she ages. Late this year we are due to go in for an echocardio scan that has me cautious but steadfast in my position of worry. Other than that she is getting jam packed with life and it's lil' experiences.
I was moved by a special picture that I took today that made me stop dead in my tracks and reflect for a moment. life has its trials that is for sure and the life of lil' Ashlynn Jane (AJ for short) has had its share and the latest pic "Montage" if you will shows that the gift of youth is something we need to hold onto and reflect upon when days that seem to suck to us have one of two things in common. 1: chances are you have had worse 2: someone else ALWAYS has it worse.
Kids have a different outlook on things and can turn off the "Suck" in life to take a breath of fresh every now and again. Resilliant, curious, and often opposing to the situation kids show us time and time again that if you can find it within yourself to flick the "pissy" switch to the off position life can shine for a while.
I think we can all agree that the photos show this in grand fashion.
