i currently have a ps 62/14 and with everything in my sig i can barely hit 39-40psi boost at wot with the little screw tightend all the way. before i put this turbo in i had a sps 62/14 and i had seen boost up to 56-58psi so i know i have enough fuel to spin my current oneand i know the sps does put out much more boost. but what i was hoping for out of this turbo was somewhere around 45-48psi at wot.

i changed turbos for better daily driving responsiveness and for towing egt's. the sps is a great turbo ... ... if you like to have your foot in the pedal all of the time. i mean for daily driving i felt like i had to have my foot in the pedal for the turbo to be active. with the one i have now its a bit more responsive without having to accelerate heavily. also towing on a flat the sps would not work hard enough to where my egt's would sit around 1250. now with the ps the egt's sit around 1100 in the same situation. but climbing a hill the sps was flat out amazing. it would just yank me up the hill. and for all out performance the sps would go from 10-50 psi in a instance. fun turbo to play around with but unfortunately i use my truck probably 3% of the time for play.

this is what I have and I can pull 50-55 you might re check all boots and what ever air-intake tube etc. if you have someone that has leak tester (the plug thingie that goes on the turbo and put in compressed air and shows your leak) cant remember what they call them... I am getting those numbers with the smarty. w/out the s2002 HO 6-SPD LB 4X4 QC HTT 62/14 SB-FE SMARTY TST PM3 MACH 4'S, RINGED AND STUDS, AFE/2:eek: "SILVERLINE D/PRICOL PYRO,BOOST,FUEL FASS 150, VULCAN 1/2 DRAW-STRAW, VULCAN 3/8 FUEL LINE AND FITTINGS, DSS 03 TRAC-BAR DSS BOX TURN-OVER BALL, RIDE RITE AIR BAGS. SUPPORT 17'' KMC BLACK HOSS, 315/70/17 MICKTHOM BMTZ'S 6" RCD LONG ARM LIFT AND DE-BADGED FOR FUEL MILEAGE. :-lafmarty im about 6-7 lbs lower hope this helps...

so with or without the smarty your getting over 45 lbs of boost? well im going to check for boost leaks again. i had checked when i had the sps but anything can happen since then.

sorry for that reply my signature cut it in half. . yes with out the smarty I still see 45lbs a little quicker with the smarty. I know that people say a dirty air filter but still when my afe is dirty (what I think is dirty) I can still pull 45 I just notice I run warmer it takes a little longer to cool down on the pyro... then a possibility check all connections AIT sensor your comp connections you can always take off and check your adjuster for the wastegate. good luck

problem solvedOo. i have been checking everything from boost leaks to switching comp boxes. then i replaced the pump wire tap with solder and the truck is running like it use to :D. i took it for a test and hit 51 lbs. of boost. thanks for everyones help.
