Welcome to the TDR. Can't answer your question as I've only had mine to the high 70's, and probably will never go much faster than that.

Before I installed the EZ, mine would hit 107-108 MPH @ 3150 RPM or so , after the EZ and exhaust it would hit 115 @3350 or so. Last Friday it would only go 113 @ 3250-3300, fuel filter had been in there for awhile ,aint sure if that was a factor or not, changed it out might have to try again this weekend and see what happens!! :D :p

4xquad, if nothing else is going on that weekend , I'm thinking about going, look for the truck, TDR badge on front and sticker up high on back window!! Probably be hanging out by the dyno!!:D Small chance I'll be taking a road trip that week!

Are the 3rd generations speed limited, either from the new lower differential ratio, or electronically?

A similar top speed thread on the late model 2nd generation trucks showed MANY of them capable of speeds up at 125-130 MPH - with 3. 55 gears of course... I've had mine up slightly over 115 and still accellerating strong when I backed out of it...

Gary they are Speed limited not RPM limited. Speed limiter is 108mph, but I think the puny tires on the 4. 10-geared duallys will be redline limited (at what speed I'm not sure). .

Evidently MMeier's box can raise the limiter, because otherwise you can throw all the HP at it you want, you're probably not going to break 110mph. I experienced this on my 2001 HO. . . it totally topped out at 118mph when bone stock, and after the vA box and DD2s it topped out at. . . 118mphm but the fuel cutoff was very pronounced after bombing.
