This was talked about a little a while back but I thought I'd mention it after an experience with a dealer. Every time I fuel up, even using the car nozzle, I can get about 5 more gallons in by letting the foam come up in the neck, letting it settle and pumping more. This process takes 10 or so minutes. It fuels fine until the pump clicks off.
Anyway, I stopped at a dealer to see if they had any complaints about this. Diesel mechanic happened to be at the service desk. They said they had not heard of it but it might have something to do with the cat converter and charcoal canister. I said this is diesel, not gas. They said it was part of the emissions on the '03 diesels. Told them I had a real problem - I must be missing some parts 'cuz I can't find these parts on my truck. I left. Will have to try this at other dealers and see what happens.
