Torch relay route in SLC

The torch relay is coming by my house in Salt Lake City. If you enlarge the pic, you can see in red where my house is. The short leg on the left side is where the speed skating oval is, I can see it from my house!

I am so jazzed the games are here, for one, we got an entire new freeway rebuilt and over 100 bridges replaced.

:--) The snow here is great, just the other day we got more snow in the mountains so conditions are right!!

The teams are starting to arrive and EACH of the temas will get their own welcoming ceremony Thats 77 events!!

Let the party BEGIN!!

When the Olympics were in Atlanta, the torch relay went right past my folks' house in L. A. (Torrance). It's not too often that a fleet of Georgia State Patrol BMW's are seen in California!

I imagine security is going to be tight in SLC. Don't let anyone overhear you say anything about "BOMBing" your truck.

So they finished the freeway mess? Seems like everytime I drove through SLC, I-15 was always torn up for one reason or another... just like Las Vegas!

Olympic Torch Relay

In 1984, I ran the torch for a Kilometer in So. Cal It was an unbelivable experience. I still hce the torch here in a closet. Still too scred to put it on the wall.
