with only 20k on the clock, i have developed two fatigue cracks in the perforated leather on front left side of my laramie trimmed driver's seat. anyone have this issue. i do not really slide across the seat so i believe its a defect. also, the car wash guy removed the coin / catch tray under the center info center. it fit perfectly before, but upon reinstall it now looks bowed in on the edges. what am i missing. i guess i will finally have to bring it in for its first repairs to the seat, hood ( factory blemish needs repaint) & i'll wait for an answer on the coin tray. don't want to be without the truck!

Are you fellas using conditioner on the leather periodically? Not saying there is not an issue, but the leather seats(non perf)in my '05 were literally like new when I sold it in 2012.

On the coin tray thingy, take it out and turn it inside out a let sit for a little while. Then turn it right side out and install.

Yes, I have been using conditioner. My brother has an '05 Laramie and the seats are easily recognizable as leather. Ram advertised the Laramie interior in 2012 as leather trimmed but the seats look like vinyl. Does anyone know what leather trimmed means?

I have a 2012 Ram 3500 Laramie. The outside part of the seat is vinyl and it fatigues with cracks. I had my driver side seat bottom replaced twice under warranty. Once out of the bumper to bumper warranty they will not fix it under the extended Max Care warranty. I think this is a joke. I should have spent the extra money and got a Longhorn with all leather instead of this cheap junk. I think they would have been more honest calling it vinyl trimmed seats with leather inserts. To be honest, I feel I got scammed and should have saved the money and bought a tradesman with vinyl seats and floor. Beyond this one issue, the truck has been awesome.

My 2012 was the Longhorn and I loved the seats. My 2015 is a Bighorn and has cloth seats and to be honest, I don't really miss the leather. I do think the Bighorn interior is a bit bland though.
