I recently added the 2 wheel low lock kit and the 3000 GSK kit to my '97 3500 4X4. While I was in there I also moved the #8 torque plate forward approximately 1/8” from the stock location. After the GSK install there was a slight increase in idle RPM. Three other changes also occurred following the install. One: when setting the cruise control speed it initially speeds up 2-4 mph above what I set it at but it eventually comes down to where it was set at. Two: when shifting manually from second gear to third there is a little blip like increase in rpm just before it shifts into third. Three: when traveling down the freeway whether with or without my 3,000 pound camper on and whether or not under heavy load or pull, the torque converter is locking and unlocking. Could any of these issues be related to the modifications I just made or simply a coincidence? Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
