Pulled in a truck pull Friday night and had what I think was the converter locking and unlocking. To people watching it sounded like a miss but had an issue when Dave Goerend installed the new transmission it would lock and unlock with his scan tool on. He wrapped the wires from the alternator, installed a noise filter all to no avail until he disconnected the scan tool, then it stopped. It has come back when pulling the skid loader, tried the apps reset and thought was gone till Friday night. I have a FASS and fuel pressure didn't drop below 14 lbs so fuel starvation shouldn't be the problem. 140 hp injectors and a comp won't be to much for a FASS will it? Also have a Blue Chip Diesel FED EX pump could it be the 2700 RPM limit on that? It's one year old. Dave also suggested a reflash by the dealer. My truck was an early 02 production would that help and do they charge for the reflash? Any help please! DW
