Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Torque King Retrofit Kit

I did a search and couldn't find much about this kit. I don't have a problem with 5th gear (yet) but would like to fix it before it breaks. It seems to me the cost of a new transmission was steep. Has anybody installed this kit? My transmission has 66,000 on it.

Nobody's put this kit in there truck? I figured i get a few responses. I'll have to do more research on the 5th gear fix. Maybe everybody's happy with a cheaper solution. This kit is a little pricey around 800 bucks.

Dan's rebuild kits are superb. I got a complete kit from him just before the Torque King came out. Mine is the full spline with his mod for the fifth gear nut. 5th gear will not come off now. Had the TK been available, I would have gotten it.

Thanks Fogie, not getting to many reponses on this thread. Did you install the rebuild kit yourself? If so, how hard was it?
