I relize that some of the 2nd gen ctds have this torque management setup. I've searched the history on these fourms and Is there anyway to remove it with out a smarty? I know on the the hemi rams you can cut a wire... .
I'm pretty sure even if there was a way you wouldn't want to do it. It would fry a transmission in no time. To much torque to quick. That's why even the smarty only "modifies" it... and that is pretty darn sweet
The BD RAD completely overrides the torque management on the 01-02 auto's. The down side is that when it is turned on, you lose most of your gauges. If you have a stock auto or are without billet shafts, you would be better off not using a RAD. Chrylser put that in there for a reason...
