help I need a stock 05 downpipe

Does this effect Stick shift trucks as well?
 
I dont think it effects manauls. I might be wrong tho. I will try to get some video tonight from the track to show ya'll how it runs. The other night I rolled through the 4 way stop in my home town and after I hit 10mph I punched it. I went about a block or so and looked down and the speedometer said 75 so I let off and it jumped down to 65 and I had to slam the breaks to keep from rearending a truck. That was with the tst off, just the CL without tq man. I didn't think it was too bad for just the crazy larry and a 66... With the tst on its a different story...

on the sticks I don't think it's even noticeable even if it did. I know if I'm rolling in 1st or 2nd and punch it (unloaded) I just basicly peg the tach, no time to make torque, to much gear.



I can only muster up a little smoke at that too.
 
from what i've heard it fuels harder than the regular crazy larry, also gets rid of the top speed limiter. so i do think that the manuals will also benefit from it.

it will also allow your truck to fuel to 35-3600rpm Oo. :-laf :--) that is also part of tq managment

sorry to say but bully dogs version may be out but it not out for the public. i didn't buy the bd box to have to send it anywhere to get updated i bought to update it myself. and i tell you that the crazy larry program is not all that if it can only muster a lousy 388 hp and 673 tq on a stock truck with a strait pipe. when stock to the wheels was 303 hp. so once i get the upgrade once its available we will see if that is any better.



i dont think he runs other products down, we all have our prefrences. also he is going off what we have seen personaly. he's not saying that bully dog makes a bad product, he's just saying that have had some issues. which company has not. its all who has had the least problems.



thanks rob, you are exactly right Oo. ----also lets remind everyone that the fastest common rail is owned by me :eek: :--) ---and i have tried bully dog on other customers trucks, i currently use PPE for a downloader!!! :-laf

As for PPE quality... ... . Well, let me get it off my chest. I ordered one for our 04 truck and it flat out didn't work at all. I ordered one for my truck and recieved one for an 05. 5 with a G56 transmission and it wouldn't load into my NV5600 equipped truck. I reordered my box for my 05 and never recieved it to test it. So, that says plenty about quality control and customer service. Oh yeh, Piers had issues with his PPE box also.

sorry but not on diesel w/ a single charger and a auto!!!! and thats with out tuning :cool: btw yes i have a rail cap too :-laf :-laf

Dieselpower,if you are so sure of your truck why you were not in Kentucky?I called you out months ago and offered you lane choice. Where were you at,you make all these claims and back up none of them. Where are your dyno sheets,where are you track times ,what proof do you have of any of your claims. I wish you were at the TS race you would of had no problem out running me I am sure,I mean I have a small underperforming set of twins,a cp3 that doesnt work,and I dont have the magic rail pressure cap. You dont even come close to having the fastest common rail.

thanks for the complements, i did compliment your times---bet you dont come close to my time on diesel, and a single, but i dont care really, you will have nothing to say when i beat your time :eek: and you are more than welcome to hit up the east coast, as for me not being there,well i have customers that took 2nd priority and a new born that took first priority.

btw this thread i started is about tq managment---------if you have nothing reguarding that to say---dont post!
 
Fine, I tell you what Wade. Bring your truck to the Mason-Dixon track and run it. I will even pay for entry. If it does what you say, I will give you all the props you think you deserve. However, till then you have produced not one single bit of proof about anything you have mentioned on the TDR.



So far everything you have repeated or said has been hearsay. Just as the comment that you made about the stage 2 cp3's that John called you on and just like you honestly thought NADP was building the pumps and tried to sell Scott at floor-it one of their own pumps. :-laf ROFLMAO :-laf

the first part of your replie is cool, i will do that -------------the second part i have no idea what your talking about, remember there are two sides to every story, better yet to prove my point----let john or scott post what you just did on line, i bet it dont happen!!!

Why did you write the first post claiming "the fastest CR is owned by me" If you are trying to make everyone here think that you have the quickest CR ever built then just keep dreamin. Thats why you had to comeback on the second quote reminding everyone else that you dont have the fastest CR and then make up an excuse thinking that in your own little way you still do. As for RC and Lloyd I respect them for not hiding anything and telling/showing everone here what they have accomplished with their trucks. If I race I always run what I brung so if RC was to race you heads up he would beat you with the way his truck is and runs! I dont have the fastest or most powerful CR out there and I would never say that I did, there is always someone out there faster or more powerful than you!!!

As for TQ MNGMT the Manuals do have it but we never really see it because the ECM cuts off fuel when it sees boost pressure with no MPH (launching on boost then accelerating) and not breaking or stressing parts. Its very hard to enable the TM with a manual because of usually a lower launch gear plus heeltoeing 3 pedals but it can be done.

Is 12. 10 @115. 6mph your best time? I saw it posted in a different thread. Im just curious because you talk like you have the baddest common rail diesel, auto, single turbo.



I just went to the track for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. I watched AK Ram's videos over and over, and talked to Dusty just to figure out what to do. My first 2 passes were less than 4 tenths slower than the time you posted.



This is with a Full Billet HTS, tst 5x2, Crazy Dog with tq man. and a sps66.



Im not mouthing at all. I am just trying to find out if a cp3 mod, injectors, and a rail cap only give you 4 more tenths... .



Apperantly you must be running faster than the low 12's. Right?

if your talking the fastest period drugs or not, then you are correct----im very proud of the first pass with this combo--remember i have not tuned.



as for the manual transmission you are correct Oo.
