Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) torque on super plug. 24 v eng oil drain plug

one quick question. is the torque spec i. e. 40 ft pounds ok when installing a super plug in a 24 valve engine. not worried about over torque, but under torque of the engine oil drain plug

If that is the torque that they recommend, I would definately use it. I don't think that that is too low either

I would think it would be the same as the OEM plug which is 44 lbs.

I torqued mine to 40 fl-lbs when I installed it in June. No problems so far.
