I had a #8 plate in my truck and replaced it with a #10 and 3k GSK. I bought the truck with the #8 so I don't have a jig for the torque plate. I did a trade in with Piers. I have no way of knowing what the factory location of the plate was so I can measure how far to advance it. Does anyone know where I can get one or have any advice on where factory setting is? Thanks for any help. Jim

If you are lucky, and the #8 was installed in the stock postion, just make scribe marks where it is. Then install the #10 in its place. The template has slots in the screw holes, so it would only be good for where the old plate was placed.

There weren't any scribe marks so I just put it in centered but I don't really know if this is near where it should be or not. When I read that maximum adjustment is . 030 from factory setting I have no way of checking that. Maybe this is not a big deal as I have heard some guys just push them full forward as call it good. I don't know if that's a good idea or not. Jim

What location is the thermocouple in for the Pyro? Pre or Post turbo? What are your current max EGTs with where it is? Do you still have the stock auto, or is a beefed up aftermarket transmission?
