Torque specs and valve clearances for 06

What are the torque specs for the rocker assemblys and also what are the valve clearances just put new head gasket, fire rings and studs in need help.

according to the 06 manual

27 ft/lbs for the rockers, and the valve lashs are

intake min . 006

max . 015



exhaust min . 021

max . 034

If you want there is a Hemi web site that has the entire service manual that you can download for free. I dont remember the name of the site so try doing a search of TDR to find the proper site. Hope this helps.

Rocker bolt torque is: 27NM

Rocker adjustment nut torque: 24NM

i have always stood by intake . 010 and exhaust . 020

The 2006 model years changed intake specs.

05 and pre are . 020" on the exhaust but 2006 is different.

Heck they even put a warning sticker on the top of the valve cover near one of the back bolts stating the lash setting.

i wonder why they upped they lash soo much???? ill have to do some research on moday up at work, it's got to be for some reason... . ?
