Installing a Pyro and would like to know what the torque specs are for the bolts on the turbo side of the flange. Am taking off the turbo to avoid any fragmants in the drilling process.
 
(7) Install the turbocharger and a new gasket.

Apply anti-seize to the studs and then tighten the

turbocharger mounting nuts to 43 N·m (32 ft. lbs. )

torque.

Thanks for the info. Am still researching how to accomplish the task. I am worried about the shavings but does seem like a lot of trouble getting it off and torqed back on.

I lowered the turbo when I drilled my mainfold. It's not that bad if you remove the right wheel and the wheelwell liner first. I think I used a universal on the ones closest to the block - don't remember if it was necessary... but it must have seemed easier at the time. I figured it was good practice for when I finally get to bombing and replace the turbo. :)

:-laf I popped the hood, drilled/tapped a hole, screwed a thermocouple in and called it a day ... ... ... took longer to route the wiring :D
