I bought the westach fuel guage from geno's thinking it would come complete to set up.

Apparently I need a "banjo bolt " from the R. L. Torresdal company?

I checked the search engine here, no luck.

Is this something I can get at napa or do i have to special order it someplace?

Thanks in advance.

Ed

no banjo in mine..

not one inside my order.

Wonder if I can get one someplace local? Or do i have to wait ANOTHER week??

Installed mine a couple of years ago. There was no bolt included with the Westach gauge from Geno's. You need to call them and order the bolt, and also have them include spare bolt gaskets. The gasket is easy to lose, or damage, when you remove the old bolt. Have fun... :)

Ray sells the banjo bolts through Genos. He runs a machine shop, and Genos runs a mail order business, it makes more sense for both of them. Buy your RL Toresdal banjo from Genos.

:) If you don't want to wait on a Banjo bolt, you could go to Napa and purchase a 36" A/C charging hose that will connect directly to the test ports at the fuel filter or the VP 44 and the other end to the Westach sending unit. That's how I run my guage permanently. The hose is expensive though, $35. 00

I also have BriarHopper's mechanical fuel pressure guage to compare the two readings and it also uses the same Napa type a/c charging hose and connections.

Drill & tap it... works fine and alot cheaper. takes 15 min.
I second that. If you can tap for a pyro, tapping a banjo bolt is a piece of cake.

Seems that many folks have reported that they need to retap Torresdal's bolts anyways because the threads are too tight.
