Digital cameras?

Question for the transmission guys

Maybe thats why the moon was so bright this morning at 4:30 and I thought my eyes were just working good or was it my glasses:confused:

I will be looking for it tonite (I work mids) but chances are good it will be too cloudy, and according to the chart it may not be too visable up here.

No chance of rain over here, but last night a dust storm put visibility down to 200 feet. It was nasty. We had a full moon last night, but you couldnt see it through all the dirt in the air. If my GPS hadnt shown where the moon was supposed to be, I would have never known it was there. Kuwait isnt going to get much of an eclipse anyway...

Darned weather wasn't cooperating at first. It was mostly clear all day and looking great a couple hours before moonrise then a big bank of clouds suddenly sweep into the SE and block the view. 3 minutes after emerging from totality it finally emerged from the clouds.

Looked very cool! I haven't seen a significant lunar eclipse since the '70s so it was nice to finally catch this one tonight. The blotchy red and grayish coloration was interesting.

I saw it last night. Didn't even know it was comming. Went to get the mail with the wife and looked at the moon and commented on it's color. The wife said, "oh yea, there's an eclipse tonight".

Pic I took with my digital camera on tripod. 4 second exposure. I took one with a 30 second exposure, but the moon move *really* far in that time.
