Explaining Enron

Motorcycle - Which One to Buy?

I have a friend that has a Yamaha touring bike. It's an '82 or '83 with 28,000 plus miles. I forget the mod. I think Ventura rings a bell. Its gold color. He wants $2,900. 00. What do you guys think, is that a good price for the buyer. It's in pretty darn good shape. Not quite pristine, but looks good. Thanks, Kirk

Lowbuck entry

The Venture is a good bike. They are a touch tall and have a engine heat problem ( most engine heat is vented to the rider) It does not overheat. The price is as said a little high. They last well, however a little high on the maintenance side. Tires are around $100 a piece for quality (don't ride on anything else). This is a lowbuck entry to touring, perfect for someone who is interested and wants to check it out. After awhile on the Venture, if you still like it go for the new Goldwing or dresser Harley.
