Tow/haul mode????

I have an 03 SO qaud cab LB 48re auto I know they did not come with tow/haul just od off Here is the situation After the truck is driven and a D to R and back to D such as a turn around the throttle feels different and shifts do not happen until 2500 rpm under moderate throttle aplication It will also downshift when slowing down It feels like its in tow haul mode If you mash the throttle it goes back to its normal crappy slushy shifts I wish I could get it to do this on command for towing my horse trailer Also is there a way to adjust the lock up when od is off? It wont lock until 50+ mph or throttle lift when towing Thanks in advance Craig

Can't help with the D to R to D thing but don't think that is supposed to happen.



For the lockup I believe the ATS CoPilot will take care of the lockup problem. I believe BD and DTT also have a unit that will do roughly the same thing.
