Jc Whitney's got'em, pretty good price too. CHrome or Black with spring steel "clips" to keep tow rop in the hooks.

Factory

Factory is the way to go, much stronger and mounted correctly. The simple 2 holed tow hook you buy at your local 4x4 shop well not do, especially with your weight. With the factory everyhting is there and ready for install, no holes to drill, they are mounted much stronger. With the other they are very weak and could bend the frame etc. , and you need to drill holes for these. Of course you should'nt be the one getting pulled these are to save those Phords and Chevi's. Good luck... ... ... check out the link.....

I did a lot of looking at the aftermarket and I decided on the factory set up. They look great and are very functional and real strong. Thomas

I have oem tow hooks BUT

if I were to do it again now I would get the front trailer hitch instead, more versitle. You can also (front) trailers in to tight places, wish I had known and done the hitch instead.

Dixie Dawg - Part # 82204881 and I used the same air dam ; if you look real close you will see a molded line for the cut out holes. Just use a dremel tool and becareful to stay inbetween the lines. Thomas .

Still looking.....

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a comparable tow-hook solution which not only looks good but will work with the "Sport" configuration on my 01 3500, which essentially has a much larger front bumper area... ... ?

JMc,

You could replace the sport bumper with a bumper off of a 1500 off road package sport. These bumpers have a recess that is molded around where the tow hooks go.
