Tow Levels with EZ

Now that I have an EZ on the way (thanks Obie1), what do I need to know about towing with the Edge EZ?



I'm guessing Level 2 is pretty safe and Level 3 will require close watch of EGTs. I'm totally stock, performance wise, other than the new EZ.



Is that pretty much right?

Right on the money... you'll be fine on those levels... now towing on level 5 that is another question :-laf

If you had exhaust and intake mods you could pull on level 5 but would need to watch the EGT's. Heck, you should watch your EGT's anyways.

This thing is scary on Level 3... I'm sure I'd break stuff on Level 4/5. I never thought the throttle response would be like this. It is truly amazing, a much different truck.



Next week I'll be off on a repeat of my 4K mile trip/tow. Driving the same route with the same loads will give me a good seat of the pants comparison. I'm actually looking forward to the trip.
