2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission tow mirror help

Well I called the people. I didn't like how they answered the phone because the first thing out of the guys mouth was... .



Will you be placing a order today. Anyway I asked him if they are just like the towing mirrors you would get from dodge and he says they are oem, I just don't want to the be the first one... LOL Would be awesome if they would work cuz then it would be cheaper then buying two sets of mirrors.

I'm guessing they aren't the same factory types that we have. I wonder if they're PowerVisions - or something similar.

I may try calling them again today, hopefully I can get someone different on the phone that actually has info, if they are something different like aftermarket I don't see how they can sell them as oem. Hopefully I can find some more out on it.

Someone else can help post the link to the instructions typed up. Rob Thomas was the originator of the swap idea. You'll need a donor set of non-power towing mirrors from a 2000-up truck. Check my gallery for a set of pictures I took when I did my install.

I got all the parts, a set of J bolts and I ready to complete.



How do handle he wiring? Look like this was already answered.
